Why livestreaming is more important than ever after COVID

Hybrid working is here to stay, just like the expectation that you make important moments accessible online as well. A professional livestream is therefore no longer a nice-to-have, but a directly measurable amplifier of reach, engagement, and continuity.

What are the benefits?

  • Wider reach: colleagues, stakeholders, and the press can join in without travel time or venue capacity.
  • Higher engagement: Q&A, polls, and chat provide real-time feedback that you never see in full in the room.
  • Continuity and reduced risk: the program continues even in the event of illness, traffic, or a speaker's cancellation (remote dial-in).
  • Measurable results: viewing time, peak moments, and interaction statistics guide your next edition.
  • Content reuse: the recording provides snippets for social media, onboarding, or an internal knowledge base.
  • Accessibility & compliance: subtitling, restricted access, and GDPR-friendly retention are easy to arrange.
  • Cost reduction & sustainability: less travel and venue stress, lower carbon footprint.

Many locations have no fixed control room, limited audio, or no streaming facilities at all.
No problem. Riddersma Events brings a complete, quiet, and compact setup with which we transform your venue into a professional studio in a short time:

  • Full control on wheels (video, audio, graphics)
  • Multiple cameras (incl. PTZ) without a large camera crew
  • Professional sound: microphones, mixing, and monitoring
  • Graphics in your branding: titles, names, bumpers, countdown
  • Secure uplink with redundancy (bonded 4G/5G fixed line where possible)
  • Fast setup and teardown, minimal disruption to venue and guests

  • Result: broadcast quality from any room, even if there is little or no technical equipment available.

    Our approach

    • Full production in flight cases (video, audio, graphics)

We bring a compact, silent control room setup in flight cases: video switching, audio mixing, graphics/overlays, playback, and monitoring neatly organized.

As a result, we build up quickly, remain flexible in the studio, and deliver broadcast quality without a fixed directorial trick.

You have a single point of contact and a tightly managed show.

    • Multiple cameras (incl. PTZ) without a large camera crew

With PTZ cameras and presets, we create dynamic shots (wide shots, close-ups, panel shots, slides) without a large team in the room.

Where necessary, we combine with fixed or mobile cameras for extra variety.

Result: television-style direction with a minimal footprint and lower costs.

    • Professional sound: microphones, mix and monitoring

Good picture quality depends on perfect sound.

We supply lavaliers, headsets or handhelds, a silent mixing setup, and tight monitoring for both the venue and the stream.

Noise cancellation, talkback, and audience microphones have been arranged.

Where room reinforcement is needed, we place compact speakers (front/side/delay) without dominating your room.

This way, every word remains understandable—both in the hall and at home.

      Included (basic)

    • Custom microphones (lav/headset/handheld)
    • Broadcast mix and monitoring for the stream
    • Talkback & audience microphone (Q&A)

    • Optional

    • Zaalversterking (speakers processing)
    • Multilingual/duo mix, audio recording per channel
    • Interpreter/IR solutions and audio splitter (Pressbox) for press
  • Screens & presentation display (TV, LED or projection)

Together, we choose the best display for your space, lighting situation, and cameras.

In short: TV is fast and sharp up to ~98"; LED is bright and scalable for large halls and plenty of ambient light; projection is affordable for a large image in a (partially) darkened hall.

We take care of resolutions, routing, and corporate identity graphics, and synchronize lighting/cameras with the chosen system.

    Quick selection (rule of thumb)

  • Small room / breakout room / up to ±80–100 guests → TV screens (multiple if necessary)
  • Medium/large hall, plenty of daylight or on camera → LED wall
  • Large screen in a darkened room, budget-friendly → Projection (projector screen)

  • TV screens

    Best for

Breakouts, boardrooms, foyers, side screens, speaker confidence monitor.

    Pros

  • Very sharp image, no moiré, quiet and compact.
  • Quick to set up, easy to position on a tripod/trolley.
  • Pleasant for camera shots (we avoid reflections where possible).

  • Points of attention

  • Limited to ~98" per screen; larger halls often require multiple screens.
  • Reflections with a lot of glass/light—resolvable with placement and lighting plan.

  • LED-wand

    Best for

Large halls, plenty of ambient light, impactful visuals, shows on camera.

    Pros

  • Extremely clear, large, and can be built in virtually any size.
  • Performs well on video with proper settings (refresh/scan/brightness).
  • Ideal as a central decor/backdrop with animations and branding.

  • Points of attention

  • Requires rigging/ground stacking and power; more setup time than TV.
  • Risk of moiré in close-ups—we adjust cameras and wall settings.
  • Budget higher than TV/projection, especially for larger sizes.

  • Projection

    Best for

Large screen in a room that can be (partially) darkened: keynotes, conferences.

    Pros

  • Large screen diagonal for a relatively low budget.
  • Soft appearance, pleasant for cameras and eyes in dark settings.
  • Flexible: front or rear projection possible.

  • Points of attention

  • Light-sensitive: in daylight, extra lumens or darkening is required.
  • Space for projector/throw distance and unobstructed view necessary.

  • Included (basic)

  • Correct scaling and routing to both the stream and the auditorium
  • Presentation insertion (PowerPoint/Keynote/video) and test
  • Corporate identity graphics (titles/lower thirds) aligned with screen/LED/projection

  • Optional

  • Audience screens (55–98") and speaker confidence monitor
  • LED-wand (indoor), timer/cue, clicker en extra playback/mediaserver
  • Projection screen (front/rear), high-lumen projector, black drape/shielding
  • Custom-made decor/lighting and camera positions to prevent reflections/moire

  • Transparency regarding costs

The choice depends on room dimensions, lighting, sightlines, number of viewers, and camera deployment.

That is why we offer TV/LED/projection as a modular package: what you need is included, and what is not needed, we leave out.

This is how you keep image quality, budget, and logistics in balance.
