On-location livestream that actually makes an impression
Hybrid working is here to stay. Have your event, panel, or business meeting effortlessly followed from home – without a boring webcam or a simple camera. Riddersma Events provides high-tech broadcast-quality livestreams, custom software, and a team that guides you from initial idea to evaluation.
Why livestreaming is more important than ever after COVID
Hybrid working is here to stay, just like the expectation that you make important moments accessible online as well. A professional livestream is therefore no longer a nice-to-have, but a directly measurable amplifier of reach, engagement, and continuity.
What are the benefits?
Why Riddersma Events
Works with your platform
We supply this as standard.
Typical applications
No in-house technology? We bring everything.
Many locations have no fixed control room, limited audio, or no streaming facilities at all.
No problem. Riddersma Events brings a complete, quiet, and compact setup with which we transform your venue into a professional studio in a short time:
Result: broadcast quality from any room, even if there is little or no technical equipment available.
Our approach
Full production in flight cases (video, audio, graphics)
We bring a compact, silent control room setup in flight cases: video switching, audio mixing, graphics/overlays, playback, and monitoring neatly organized.
As a result, we build up quickly, remain flexible in the studio, and deliver broadcast quality without a fixed directorial trick.
You have a single point of contact and a tightly managed show.
Multiple cameras (incl. PTZ) without a large camera crew
With PTZ cameras and presets, we create dynamic shots (wide shots, close-ups, panel shots, slides) without a large team in the room.
Where necessary, we combine with fixed or mobile cameras for extra variety.
Result: television-style direction with a minimal footprint and lower costs.
Professional sound: microphones, mix and monitoring
Good picture quality depends on perfect sound.
We supply lavaliers, headsets or handhelds, a silent mixing setup, and tight monitoring for both the venue and the stream.
Noise cancellation, talkback, and audience microphones have been arranged.
Where room reinforcement is needed, we place compact speakers (front/side/delay) without dominating your room.
This way, every word remains understandable—both in the hall and at home.
Included (basic)
- Custom microphones (lav/headset/handheld)
- Broadcast mix and monitoring for the stream
- Talkback & audience microphone (Q&A)
Optional
- Zaalversterking (speakers processing)
- Multilingual/duo mix, audio recording per channel
- Interpreter/IR solutions and audio splitter (Pressbox) for press
Screens & presentation display (TV, LED or projection)
Together, we choose the best display for your space, lighting situation, and cameras.
In short: TV is fast and sharp up to ~98"; LED is bright and scalable for large halls and plenty of ambient light; projection is affordable for a large image in a (partially) darkened hall.
We take care of resolutions, routing, and corporate identity graphics, and synchronize lighting/cameras with the chosen system.
Quick selection (rule of thumb)
- Small room / breakout room / up to ±80–100 guests → TV screens (multiple if necessary)
- Medium/large hall, plenty of daylight or on camera → LED wall
- Large screen in a darkened room, budget-friendly → Projection (projector screen)
TV screens
Best for
Breakouts, boardrooms, foyers, side screens, speaker confidence monitor.
Pros
- Very sharp image, no moiré, quiet and compact.
- Quick to set up, easy to position on a tripod/trolley.
- Pleasant for camera shots (we avoid reflections where possible).
Points of attention
- Limited to ~98" per screen; larger halls often require multiple screens.
- Reflections with a lot of glass/light—resolvable with placement and lighting plan.
LED-wand
Best for
Large halls, plenty of ambient light, impactful visuals, shows on camera.
Pros
- Extremely clear, large, and can be built in virtually any size.
- Performs well on video with proper settings (refresh/scan/brightness).
- Ideal as a central decor/backdrop with animations and branding.
Points of attention
- Requires rigging/ground stacking and power; more setup time than TV.
- Risk of moiré in close-ups—we adjust cameras and wall settings.
- Budget higher than TV/projection, especially for larger sizes.
Projection
Best for
Large screen in a room that can be (partially) darkened: keynotes, conferences.
Pros
- Large screen diagonal for a relatively low budget.
- Soft appearance, pleasant for cameras and eyes in dark settings.
- Flexible: front or rear projection possible.
Points of attention
- Light-sensitive: in daylight, extra lumens or darkening is required.
- Space for projector/throw distance and unobstructed view necessary.
Included (basic)
- Correct scaling and routing to both the stream and the auditorium
- Presentation insertion (PowerPoint/Keynote/video) and test
- Corporate identity graphics (titles/lower thirds) aligned with screen/LED/projection
Optional
- Audience screens (55–98") and speaker confidence monitor
- LED-wand (indoor), timer/cue, clicker en extra playback/mediaserver
- Projection screen (front/rear), high-lumen projector, black drape/shielding
- Custom-made decor/lighting and camera positions to prevent reflections/moire
Transparency regarding costs
The choice depends on room dimensions, lighting, sightlines, number of viewers, and camera deployment.
That is why we offer TV/LED/projection as a modular package: what you need is included, and what is not needed, we leave out.
This is how you keep image quality, budget, and logistics in balance.
Graphics in your house style: titles, bumpers, countdown
We build titles, lower thirds, name frames, bumpers, and countdowns into your branding.
We seamlessly integrate presentations and videos, with clear call-to-actions and sponsor mentions where desired.
Everything looks consistent and professional, fully in accordance with your branding guidelines.
Optionally, we add a live Q&A layer and (automatic or manual) subtitles so that viewers can actively participate and the stream remains accessible.
Included (basic)
- Corporate identity graphics (titles/name frames/bumpers/countdown)
- Presentation and video insertion with correct scaling
- Consistent typography/colors, safe for both stream and audience
Optional
- Live Q&A overlay and moderation
- Subtitles (AI live captions or human-edited), in virtually all languages
- Sponsorloops, call-to-action banners en ticker
- Multilingual variants and template package for subsequent editions
Secure uplink with redundancy (4G/5G fixed line)
We test the location in advance and stream via a redundant uplink: fixed line where available, plus bonding across multiple 4G/5G networks.
Automatic failover keeps the broadcast online.
Support for RTMP/SRT and restricted access (whitelist/SSO) is standard.
Lighting (front & ambient)
Good lighting makes faces look natural, easier on the eyes, and instantly gives your set the right atmosphere.
We set up front lighting for speakers (soft, even, without harsh shadows) and add ambient lighting to the background and decor in your corporate colors.
Everything is camera-proof (flicker-free, high CRI/TLCI) and optimized for screens/LED/projection so that you do not get reflections or color cast.
Included (basic)
- Soft front lighting for speakers (key fill) with clean skin tones
- Color temperature and white balance adjusted to cameras and the room
- Quiet, cool, and compact: minimal footprint and no disturbance to the public
Optional
- Mood lighting: uplights, wall washes, and decorative spotlights in brand colors
- DMX cues and scenes (e.g. walk-in, talk, Q&A, outro)
- Practical lamps in a set (table lamp, LED strips, neon accent) for extra atmosphere
- Battery-powered uplights for cable-free operation and quick setup/dismantling
- Logo projection (gobo), light haze for subtle light beams (location policy)
- Audience lighting for Q&A and interaction
- Complete lighting design pre-lighting in the hall with lighting plot and video coordination
Result
Speakers who look fresh and professional, a set that “breathes” in your branding, and a stream that is pleasant to watch—both live in the room and at home.
(Helpful to provide: branding colors/hex codes, desired mood images, and any location restrictions.)
Quick setup and teardown, minimal disruption to the location
Our setup is compact and quiet, with neat cable management and clear pivot points for load-in/out.
We coordinate the planning with the venue, keep walkways clear, and leave the room tidy.
This way, you can seamlessly continue with your program — without technical hassle.
Special effects (completely optional but really fun)
Do you want an extra “wow” moment?
We can enhance your livestream or show with safe, venue-friendly effects.
Always in consultation with the venue, and demonstrably safe for **staff, audience, speakers, the room, and all equipment**
Optional (choices)
- Confetti shooters / streamers – preferably biodegradable; colors in corporate style, including a neat cleanup.
- Haze / smoke – subtle mist for beautiful light beams (flicker-free, controllable), or short smoke bursts on cue.
- Sparkular (cold fire) – indoor-suitable “spark fountains” with controlled height/duration.
- CO₂ jets / CO₂ guns – powerful visual bursts that look good on camera.
- Kabuki drop / reveal – curtain drop or product reveal at exactly the right moment.
Prerequisites & safety
- Always in consultation with the venue/permits and in accordance with house rules.
- Fire alarm system (smoke detectors) coordination mandatory; temporarily switch off where necessary in consultation with the location/fire watch.
- Distance and shielding from audience, set, and technical equipment; floor and stage protection where necessary.
- Power & consumption (electricity/CO₂ cylinders) and safe positioning are planned in advance.
- Cleaning & repair afterwards included with confetti/streamers.
Camera and direction
- Effects are triggered on cue (talkback/showcaller) and tested in rehearsal.
- We dose the haze/smoke for nice bundles without a dense cloud; ventilation is in order.
- Confetti and Sparkular are tailored to viewing direction, light, and lenses; we match the colors with your corporate identity.
Result
A tightly timed climax that impresses live and works on the recording—without compromising on safety, visibility, or stream quality.
Welke internetverbinding is nodig?
Besloten toegang (wachtwoord/whitelist/SSO) is mogelijk.
Kleine/heldere ruimtes: vaak TV-schermen. Grote zalen of veel daglicht: LED-wand. Groot beeld met (deels) verduistering: projectie. We stemmen resoluties, licht en camera’s hierop af.
