Projects
We have had the privilege of realizing diverse audiovisual productions for various clients. Below, we briefly highlight a number of completed projects.
Shipping Expo 2026 in the Submarine Wharf
For Scheepvaart Expo 2026, we provided the technical implementation in the Submarine Wharf in Rotterdam.
During this event, we were responsible for the technical aspects on three stages, the catering terrace, and various TV screens for exhibitors.
Additionally, on the main stage, we worked with new equipment where audio, video, and data were transported together over a single fiber cable.
This setup allowed us to build up faster and work more efficiently on location, without compromising on overview and reliability.
We also brought a new converter rack, which allowed us to further streamline the technical setup.
It is great to apply these kinds of new systems immediately within a production of this scale.

RailTech Europe 2026 - Jaarbeurs Utrecht
For RailTech Europe 2026, we provided the complete technical implementation in Hall 3 of the Jaarbeurs Utrecht.
For this production, we were responsible for the technical aspects in two conference halls, multiple breakout rooms, and at various parts of the exhibition floor.
We also installed TV screens for exhibitors and provided the sound, visuals, and special effects on the catering terrace.
Together with our team of freelancers and permanent technicians, we built this up in two days. After the two exhibition days, we handled the dismantling immediately after the event closed.
A production like this requires an overview, good preparation, and a technical structure that is correct in every aspect.
Are you working on a trade fair or conference and would you like to brainstorm about the technical aspects or new ideas? Feel free to contact us.

65 of Walcheren - Technical support
For the 65 van Walcheren, we had the privilege of contributing as a partner to the technical support of this special event. At the start and finish, we provided the sound with full-range speakers around the grounds, two handheld microphones for announcements, and the music for the key moments of the day.
In addition, we also had the opportunity to film part of the video footage of the event.
It is great to contribute in this way to a project that revolves not only around sport and experience, but also around social impact.
We look back with pride on our contribution to the 65 van Walcheren and are pleased that we were able to support this event as a sponsorship project.

Multimodal in Breepark Breda
For Multimodaal in Breepark Breda, we provided the complete technical setup for the event.
For this edition, we realized, among other things, six stages with the necessary technology for presentations and program elements.
In addition, we provided the catering terrace, where we installed a truss square with audio and lighting. The opening ceremony with confetti took place under this structure, as did the closing event with an artist later in the day.
We also placed TV screens and an LED screen on the exhibition floor for various exhibitors.
This edition of Multimodaal was one of the best-attended ever, with more visitors and more exhibitors than in previous years. We are pleased to have contributed to the technical realization of this informative and important trade fair.
Would you also like a technical partner for your trade fair, conference, or business event to ensure everything is set up and works properly? We would be happy to brainstorm with you.

MS Independent - Webinar in our studio
For Ms Independent, we had the pleasure of facilitating a professional webinar from our studio in Middelburg. The session, themed “The Jungle of Marketing,” offered participants clear insights, concrete strategies, and immediately applicable tips to bring structure and focus to their marketing approach.
We were responsible for the complete technical realization of the livestream. From professional video and audio direction to lighting setup, camera operation, streaming technology, and live monitoring — everything was taken care of down to the last detail. This allowed the speaker to concentrate fully on the content, while we ensured a stable, high-quality, and flawless broadcast.
During the webinar, we also made use of our integrated Q&A system. This system allowed the speaker to view the selected questions in a clear and organized manner. Our moderator selected and structured the most relevant questions so that they were addressed at the right time. This ensured an interactive session with a professional and streamlined Q&A round.
Looking to organize a webinar or online event as well? We handle the complete technical production and ensure a professional look and a worry-free execution.

Continental Benelux – Corporate Event
For Continental Benelux, Riddersma Events provided the complete photo reportage of the corporate event, including the conference, the drinks reception, and the closing party. The focus was on capturing both the substantive moments and the atmosphere throughout the day and evening.
In addition to event technology such as audio, video, and lighting, photography is an important part of Riddersma Events. Thanks to our extensive experience in event photography, ranging from festivals to business and corporate events, we know exactly which moments are relevant to document and how to capture them in a representative manner.
The result is a consistent and professional image series that clearly captures the flow and atmosphere of the event and is widely applicable for online communication, internal reporting, and marketing purposes.

Promedia Publishers - Havendebat Rotterdam
For Promedia, Riddersma Events handled the complete technical production of the Rotterdam Port Debate at the STC. We were responsible for audio, video, and lighting, including presentations, video playback, and microphone setups with handhelds, headsets, and a Catchbox.
An important part of this production was a voting system for the stage specially developed by us. Four speakers stood behind separate columns, each equipped with a tablet and three voting options: red, orange, and green. During motions, they could make their choice, which was immediately visible via lighting at their own column. This visually enhanced the debate and made it immediately clear to the audience, in line with the audience vote in the hall.
The system was deliberately designed to be modular and flexible. The lighting can be used as a regular part of a lighting set, independent of the voting system. When voting is not desired, the system can be fully locked and returned to a neutral appearance. After each voting round, the lighting was centrally normalized by the lighting control center so that the stage remained visually calm.
A production in which technology goes beyond mere support, and actively contributes to structure, interaction, and overview – developed and executed by Riddersma Events.

National organization – Internal meeting
Challenge
For a national organization, we provided the technical support during an internal meeting with an important theme. No cameras or livestream this time, but a session where falling silent is not an option and mistakes have no room.
Solution We supplied and operated the complete audio and presentation technology: headsets and handhelds for the speakers, speakers for even coverage in the room, and support for the presentations. During the meeting, we continuously monitored the sound and visuals so that speakers could focus entirely on the content.
Result: The meeting proceeded without technical interruptions. Everyone in the room could follow the speakers well, and the program ran smoothly. During moments like these – where things simply cannot go wrong – we ensure that the technology continues to run reliably in the background.

Mobility Energy Expo & Fleet Expo 2025
For Promedia Group, Riddersma Events handled the complete technical production of the Mobility Energy Expo and Fleet Expo. In the conference hall, we supplied complete audio, video, and lighting facilities for both exhibition days.
In addition, we equipped three workshop rooms with silent disco headphones so that sessions could take place simultaneously and without sound disturbance. On the catering terrace, we provided the sound for the festive opening with confetti shooters and supported the DJ and singer during the drinks reception.
We also supplied screens for exhibitors, various truss exhibition stands with lighting, and more than 150 meters of Pipe & Drape to create and shape the spaces.
A multifaceted production in which technology, logistics, and execution came together—and which we look back on with pride as a successful event.

Rijkswaterstaat Sea and Delta
DT webinar broadcast
Challenge
For Rijkswaterstaat Sea and Delta, we were responsible for the complete technical realization of the dt webinar.
The broadcast took place via Microsoft Teams and was partly conducted with an audience in the room. The challenge lay in the combination of a hybrid setup – featuring sound in the room as well as a livestream and recording – and the use of Rijkswaterstaat’s highly secure internal network.
Solution
We handled video direction, camera operation, and audio mixing, with two audio technicians each creating their own mix: one for the venue and one for the livestream recording.
The broadcast was transmitted via a specially prepared computer within the Rijkswaterstaat network. In close cooperation with their ICT department, the connection was pre-approved and patched so that the stream could proceed securely and stably.
During the broadcast, we ensured balanced lighting and a calm, natural image. Custom title bars in the event's branding gave the whole setup a professional look.
Result
The webinar ran technically flawlessly and was perceived by the participants as a professional production. Several attendees commented that the whole thing reminded them of a TV studio – a nice compliment and exactly the level of quality we strive for at Riddersma Events.

Smulders Projects Netherlands
Safety meeting
Challenge
We had the pleasure of providing AV support for Smulders Projects Nederland during a special safety meeting.
The setting was anything but standard: the speakers stood on top of the cellar deck of an offshore platform being built inside the warehouse. From this impressive position, they spoke across the hall to the audience below – a challenging acoustic situation in a large, reverberant space.
Solution
To keep the speech clear and balanced, we developed a carefully crafted sound plan with multiple strategically placed speakers. This ensured the sound remained evenly distributed without disruptive echoes or delays. Additionally, we provided DPA headsets and wireless handheld microphones for the speakers, allowing their voices to sound natural and direct.
For visual support, we placed screens at the front of the room, on which the presentations and visuals were displayed.
Result
Despite the challenging acoustics, the meeting ran technically flawlessly. Thanks to the proper speaker distribution, high-quality microphones, and careful sound tuning, every speaker was clearly audible all the way to the back of the warehouse.
Rijkswaterstaat – SROK's Meeting
Challenge
For the national meeting of Rijkswaterstaat regarding the SROKs (Cooperation Framework Agreements), we were asked at the last minute to handle the entire presentation technology. The meeting took place at the Topshuis on Neeltje Jans. The signing of the new six-year contracts was the central focus of the program, with various directors and partners in attendance.
Solution
In a short time, we arranged all the necessary technology for presentations, audio, and video. We provided microphones, PowerPoint support, and camera recording. The footage from our camera was displayed instantly on the screen upstairs with ultra-low latency, allowing the audience there to watch live. The highlight occurred when the Director-General and other involved parties took the elevator down to hoist a flag outside as a symbol of the collaboration—a powerful visual moment that we captured.
Result
Despite the minimal preparation time, everything went smoothly. Thanks to our technical support, everyone present upstairs could follow the moment live, as if they were there themselves. The flag raising gave an original and powerful twist to the signing.
Paul.wav @ De Dam
For Desan (Pawelo.wav), Riddersma Events handled the complete technical production of a private event at beach pavilion De Dam in Vrouwenpolder. The goal: a high-quality and reliable production where light, sound, and presentation come together.
We supplied and operated all the necessary technical equipment, including professional sound, DJ facilities, and a fully controllable light and laser show. The production was carefully tailored to the location and the character of the performance, with attention to presentation, balance, and experience.
The result was a sleek and exclusive event where everything technically aligned perfectly – executed with the precision and professionalism for which Riddersma Events is known.
GEFO Crewdays
Challenge The annual GEFO Crewdays takes place in a different hotel each time, often in Germany. There, we regularly encounter a difficult issue: the network connection. Hotels do not always have stable internet, and local 4G coverage is often limited. Nevertheless, it is essential that staff on the ships can follow the presentations and sessions live, without interruptions.
Solution To ensure this, we bring our own equipment and set up a stable, redundant connection, independent of the existing network. This creates certainty, even at locations with weak connections. Additionally, we handle all technical aspects in the venue:
- Switching equipment and control for a smooth display of the presentations and cameras.
- Sound engineering with speakers and headsets, so that speakers are always clearly audible.
- Support from our crew, who monitor and guide everything during the event.
Result: Thanks to this approach, both the participants in the room and the colleagues on the ships can watch and listen live without any problems. Even in locations where internet and mobile coverage are insufficient, the event runs smoothly and professionally. This allows the organization to focus entirely on the content, while we take care of the technology and connectivity.

Recording course in our studio for BENG Training
For BENG Opleiding, we had the pleasure of producing the complete course recordings in our studio. These videos form the basis for their online learning environment, allowing students to follow the training at any time.
To convey the content as clearly as possible, we worked with a multi-camera setup:
- Close-ups for practical, physical explanation
- Wide shots to provide a clear overview of the whole scene
- Professional audio for clear and consistent sound quality
- Screen in the background for additional explanation or presentations
- Supersource to display both the teacher and the visual material in a single overview during in-depth explanations or detail photos.
In addition, we developed an intro and outro for the course videos in the BENG Opleiding house style, ensuring that every video has a professional look. All recordings were individually post-processed for color correction and sound volume, so that course participants have a pleasant and consistent viewing and learning experience.
With this approach, BENG Opleiding now has a complete set of high-quality course videos, ready for online use.

Projection mapping for art route
For an art route in Burgh-Haamstede, we realized a full light projection in the characteristic church building where the event took place.
This projection consisted of a combination of animated graphics, text fragments, and a sound composition.
Image and sound together formed one integrated work of art that brought the space to life.
The projection was not merely a visual frame, but an essential part of the artistic program — designed to deepen the content and make the atmosphere of the literary work palpable.
On the final day of the event, we also provided the video recording of the live program, including the artist talk and the reading.

Maxxton - Customer Day
We had the privilege of providing full technical support for the customer day of Maxxton, a specialist in software solutions for the hospitality sector. During this exclusive event, aimed at C-level clients, quality and reliability took center stage – precisely what sets us apart.
Our contribution consisted of:
- Audio engineering: careful sound amplification for all speakers, so that every presentation was clear and intelligible throughout the room.
- Presentation support: support for visual content and smooth transitions for a professional overall look, including a live dial-in connection with staff.
- Video recording: we captured the entire program on video, so that Maxxton could use the event for communication and review even after it had concluded.
- Live subtitling: real-time captioning during the presentations ensured extra accessibility and international usability.
The result: a tightly organized event where the technology was entirely at the service of the content and the experience. We thank Maxxton for their trust and look forward to another inspiring project!

Tribute on Neeltje Jans - Rijkswaterstaat
Commissioned by Rijkswaterstaat, we had the privilege of providing technical support during an impressive memorial service for traffic victims on Neeltje Jans. This gathering took place at one of the official memorial sites where bereaved relatives come together to commemorate their loved ones.
Indoors, we provided the complete presentation and audio technology for the program, which consisted of speeches and live singing. Clear speech amplification and appropriate atmosphere management were central to striking the right tone for this subdued moment.
Outside, at the monument itself, we provided not only the outdoor audio technology but also a live multi-camera connection to the nearby TOPS House. This connection made it possible for people with physical disabilities to experience the moment of remembrance quietly and with dignity from a distance. The livestream ran via our own secure servers, allowing us to guarantee maximum reliability and privacy – an important requirement for both Rijkswaterstaat and ourselves.
It was an honor to contribute to this meaningful day, with technology that connects – especially at moments that matter.

Carwash Show Europe
Carwash Show Europe was organized last year at the Expo Haarlemmermeer. During this project, we were responsible for the truss stand construction and general technical support.
We have equipped several workshops and a plenary hall with technical equipment, in addition to the 50 truss stands including lighting.

HOTCH POTCH - Zeeland Museum
Commissioned by the Zeeuws Museum, we provided visual support for the HOTCHPOTH exhibition. What makes this exhibition special is that it is visible across all four walls and the floor of the space. This creates a unique experience, but also presents significant challenges.

Beach Pavilion Vloed
Vloed chose to construct a completely new beach pavilion. We had the pleasure of providing the sound system for this project, which is intended for both background music and parties. By utilizing different zones, it is possible to schedule various activities simultaneously.
Naturally, the event room is equipped with smart lighting that can be used via pre-programmed schedules. Thanks to the simple controls, all employees can operate the system.

Rosarium Amsterdam
The Rosarium Amsterdam in Amsterdam was looking for lighting that could be used during receptions or weddings that are sporadically organized there. When installing the lighting for this project, it was important that it be inconspicuous when not in use; therefore, it was important to use white moving heads. Our partner Chauvet supplied the moving heads for this project. The entire installation is controlled via a DMX recorder with pre-programmed schedules, making it easy to operate. Additionally, the installation is easy to expand in the future.
Would you like to make your location suitable for drinks but not emphasize this during the day? We would be happy to discuss the possibilities for realizing an installation with you.

Circus Renz Berlin
Riddersma Events realized a completely new lighting installation for Circus Renz Berlin. The installation consists of 56 IP64 LED PARs; Circus Renz performances take place in a tent where high humidity can occur. Additionally, the tent is not heated, meaning a cold environment can prevail. By using outdoor fixtures, the risk of malfunctions is kept to a minimum.
Would you like to change or renew the lighting in your business? Contact us to discuss the possibilities.
